Every single place in the world has a characteristic culture, art, langue and many others. USA’s culture must be different from Indonesia’s culture. Indonesia its self has many differences about it. As we know that Indonesia is an archipelago, certainly he has different things in each island and each island has different town so I can not tell all of differences in Indonesia, but here I want to tell about the town that I little bite know.

Located in north of java island, Jepara was established. Most of Indonesian people have kwon about this town. Moreover, somebody who talks about it they must think about carving and kartini, the Indonesian heroine. Actually not only these that jepara has.  Beside that, jepara has many beautiful tourism places, waterfall, beach, cocoa garden, mountain and many others that I cannot explain one by one.

The well known product of jepara is wood carving and furniture. Most of society there works in that area.  Carpenter, cabinet maker, craftsman, bus driver, rice seller and the other profession get livelihood by furniture directly or indirectly. For the example, if the furniture order is low, of course the carpenter will economize the financial, one of method he will decrease his pocket money and will not buy rice in the food stole but he’ll bring rice from his home. The money circulation is in furniture. Jepara’s breath is carving and furniture because of that Jepara also called “kota ukir”carving town.

R.A Kartini, the Indonesian woman crusader is from jepara. When Ducth colonized Indonesia, women only had 3 jobs in their life. What were they? They were bearing, cooking, making up or in Indonesia we can say beranak, memasak,dan berdandan. They did not have any education at all. In R.AKartini’s era, she changed it became good paradigm good education for women. She made women got their freedom so we can see up to now. She is a jepara’s heroine icon.
